Required of any person, firm or corporation who for a valuable consideration, verifies, inspects, evaluates, tests, installs, alters or restores, or offers to verify, inspect, evaluate, test, install, alter or restore, heating group number one, as defined in North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 87, Chapter 2. Class II work is limited to single-family detached dwellings only.

4,000 hours of experience in the category for which license is being sought. Up to one-half of experience may be in academic or technical training related to the field of endeavor for which examination is requested.
