They may work on only those systems for which they were employed and certified and only in connection with the specific duties of the certificate holder by whom the repair person was employed and recommended.

Other Requirements

At least 18 years old; be employed in a job requiring special qualifications by certificated repair station or commercial operator or certificated air carrier; be recommended for certification by employer; have at least 18 months of practical experience in the maintenance duties of the specific job OR completed formal training that is acceptable to the Administrator and is specifically designed to qualify the applicant for the job on which the applicant is to be employed; and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
