Aircraft dispatchers authorize, regulate and control commercial airlines' flights according to government and company regulations in order to expedite and ensure safety of flight.

Age 21 or older to take aircraft dispatcher knowledge test. To be eligible for a certificate: at least 23 years old; read, speak, write, and understand English; and pass required practical test.
