Limited Nonresident Commercial Real Estate

A limited nonresident commercial broker (LCB) license is a license issued to a person who: does NOT live in North Carolina (NC), has an active real estate broker or salesperson license in another state, wants to enter NC to engage in a commercial transaction as an affiliated agent with his/her out-of-state brokerage company, and must enter into a Declaration of Affiliation and a Brokerage Cooperation Agreement with a resident NC broker who will be responsible for supervising the nonresident.
