Person who is engaged in preparing to become licensed for the practice of funeral directing, embalming or funeral service under the personal supervision and instruction of a person duly licensed for the practice of funeral directing, embalming or funeral service in the State of North Carolina.

Background Check, Fingerprint, submit appropriate Application, Need affidavit from supervisor or preceptor who has had at least 5 yrs. professional experience, must complete Traineeship within 36 months, must begin on the 1st of the month, must submit monthly work reports and completed the # of specified hours and cases prior to certification, may renew traineeship up to 2 times;
