Nurse Aides Work Under The Supervision Of Nursing And Medical Staff. They Respond To Patients' Calls, Serve Meals, Make Beds, And Assist Patients In Eating, Dressing, And Bathing. They Also Assist In Personal Care, Take Vital Signs, Change Non-sterile Dressings, Help Patients In And Out Of Bed, Perform Patient Escorts, And Do Some Housekeeping Tasks. They Have Close Personal Contact With Patients And Must Report Any Change In Their Physical Or Mental Condition To The Nursing Staff.
