Poultry/Ratite Dealer

The Poultry/Ratite Dealer license is a free license which is used to sell live adult poultry and game birds at flea markets and other swaps such as those organized by Tractor Supply Company, Southern States. A backyard flock owner is not required to have a Poultry/Ratite dealer license to sell an adult bird at an auction; the auction itself is required to have the license. I believe the Poultry/Ratite Dealer license is also required to display poultry at shows such as the Carolina Feather Fancier Show, North Carolina Gamebird Association Show.
