Administrator Qualifications: Must Be 18 Years Of Age Or Older; Must Be Willing To Work With Bonafide Inspectors & The Monitoring & Licensing Agencies; Must Meet The General Health Requirements Specified In Rule; Must Provide At Least Three Current Reference Letters Or The Names Of Individuals With Whom A Reference Interview Can Be Conducted. The Individuals Providing Reference Information Must Be Knowledge- Able Of The Applicant Administrator'S Background And Qualifications And Must Include At Least One Former Employer; Must Provide Written Documentation About Convictions Of Criminal Offenses From The Clerk Of Court In The County In Which The Convic- Tion Occurred, And About Any Driving Offenses Other Than Minor Traffice Violations From The Motor Vehicles Office; The Administrator Must Verify That He/She Has Worked In An Adult Care Facility For At Least 90 Days In An On-The-Job Training Program Approved By The Department Of Human Resources; Or Verify That He/She Has Past Education, Training And Experience Related To The Management And Operation Of Adult Residential Care Facilities; Must Verify That He/She Earns 15 Hours A Year Of Continuing Education Credits Related To The Management Of Adult Care Homes And Care Of Aged And Disabled Persons. The Requirement For Earning Continuing Education Credits Does Not Apply In Those Situations Where The Administrator Is Also A Currently a Nursing Home Administrator.
