Any Person May Apply To The Department Of Natural And Cultural Resources For A Permit To Conduct Archaeological Investigations On State Lands. The Application Shall Contain Information The Department Of Natural And Cultural Resources, In Consultation With The Department Of Administration, Deems Necessary, Including The Time, Scope, Location And Specific Purpose Of The Proposed Work.

Effective 10/1/05, Applicants Are Required To Submit To A Formal Criminal Background Check As A Result Of Amendments Made To NCGS Chapters 70 & 123 During The 2005 Legislative Session.
