Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Certification Which Allows An Individual To Be Responsible For The Medical Aspects Of An Emergency Mission Prior To Arrival At The Hospital. The Emt Must Be At Least 18 Years Of Age, And Must Have Completed A Basic Emergency Medical Technician Course Meeting The Criteria Of The "Emergency Medical Technician - Ambulance: National Standard Curriculum" Developed By The U.S. Department Of Transportation And Offered By An Approved Teaching Institution.
