Fertilizer Registration

Fertilizer Distributed Primarily For Use On Noncommercial Crops Such As Gardens, Lawns, Shrubs, Flowers, Golf Courses, Cemeteries And Nurseries. "Fertilizer Materials" - Any Substance Containing Either Nitrogen, Phosphous, Potassium, Or Any Other Recognized Plant Food Content Or For Compounding Mixed Fertilizers. Does Not Include All Types Of Manipulated Manures And Mulches For Which No Plant Food Contents Is Claimed. Each Brand Of Commercial Fertilizer (Fluid And Dry) For Tobacco, Specialty Fertilizer, Fertilizer Materials, Manipulated (Processed Or Added To) Manure And Fortified (Plant Food Added) Mulch Shall Be Register By The Person Whose Name Appears On The Label Before Being Offered For Sale, Sold Or Distributed In This State.

Other Requirements

There Are Labeling Requirements Which Must Be Complied With In Order To Offer For Sale Or Distribute Fertilizer In This State. 5 lbs net or less - $55.00; over net 5 lbs - $5.00; combination - $60.00

Exemptions

All Other Mixed Fertilizers Other Than Those Previously Described May Be Manufactured And Sold Without Registration But Must Be Properly d To Manufacture Or Distribute Such Exempted Fertilizers. (See Fertilizer Manufacturing ). The Term "Fertilizer Material" Does Not Include All Types Of Unmanipulated Animal And Vegetable Manures And Mulches For Which No Plant Food Content Is Claimed.
