Facility Or Establishment Which Regularly Offers To The Public The Service Of Boarding Dogs And/Or Cats. Such A Facility Or Establishment May, In Addition To Providing Shelter, Food And Water, Offer Grooming Or Other Services For Dogs And/Or Cats. No Person Shall Operate A Boarding Kennel Unless A To Operate Such Establishment Shall Have Been Granted By The Department Of Agriculture - Animal Welfare Section.

Compliance With Rules; No Felony Convictions Kennel Wastewater Has Been Classified As An Industrial Process Wastewater And Must Be Disposed To An Department Of Environment And Natural Resources Approved Wastewater System. Typical Approved Wastewater Systems Are Septic Systems With Drain fields, And Land Surface Application Systems.

Exemptions

Place Or Establishment Which Is Operated Under The Immediate Supervision Of A Duly d Veterinarian As A Hospital Where Animals Are Harbored, Boarded, Etc. During The Routine Practice Of The Profession Of Veterinary Medicine. Any Individual Who Occasionally Boards An Animal On A Noncommercial Basis For A Fee To Cover Cost Of Boarding.
